Paved Bike Paths in Bend, Oregon
Looking for shorter, family-friendly bike path options? Here are some bike trail suggestions:

Haul Road Trail
Out-and-back, 4 miles each way. The Haul Road trail offers access from the Old Mill District area to the Cascade Welcome Center on Century Drive. You can start at any number of places, but we recommend parking near the Athletic Club of Bend or Rimrock Park and riding up from there. The trail climbs gently on the way out, so it's a nice free ride back once you head home. If you'd like to extend the route, consider heading out Forest Road 41 (Conklin Road) and stopping by one of the Deschutes River day use areas at Lava Island, Aspen Camp, or Dillon Falls.

Shevlin Loop Trail
Shevlin Park is arguably Bend's crown jewel. There is a 2-mile paved road out and back to the end, as well as the gentle, flat Shevlin Loop trailoption. The trail follows Tumalo Creek, so there are scenic water opportunites throughout.

Sunriver Bike Pathways
Sunriver boasts our only lengthy bike path network, with 34 miles of meandering trails. We suggest that you start from The Village at Sunriver, follow your noses throughout the resort.
