Tour des Chutes
Tour des Chutes...
Sunnyside Sports' own Gary Bonacker started the Tour des Chutes in 2005 following his diagnosis with a malignant brain tumor. Thus far TdC has raised over $200,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and local cancer agencies. Thanks again to the 1000 cyclists who came out to to ride in this year's ride. We're shooting to make 2010 bigger and better so stay tuned!

Hi, I am Don Leet an owner of Sunnyside Sports. I love cyclo cross racing, mountain and road riding and Nordic Skiing. I also love my sweetheart for over 35 years, Kathy. I started doing a blog because Susan (one of my business partners) told me to. Now I do it because I like to. Please enjoy.

We've been waiting for these. With 150 mm of plush DRCV travel, the new Remedy is all-mountain. Don has one that he's planning to use at the Lair, and the Ashland Super D. Look for a review soon, and come in and check this out!

The Sunnyside Demo Bike Fleet is on sale now, and available for pickup on October 1st. Most bikes are current models, with one season of use. Suspension bikes are fully serviced before sale. Check our 
Sunday, September 12th. We're taking Oregon's oldest century underground this year. Feel free to meet at the shop at 9:00 for the ride, but make sure you're self-supported. There will be no support, map, or registration fee, just 100 mountain miles for your pedaling pleasure.

It's a wonderful collaboration between St. Charles, Commute Options, and Bend Metro Parks and Recreation District. Buy a sign and stick it in the street when your kids are playing outside. In addition to raising awareness in motorists, the $25 price raises funds to promote children's health in Central Oregon.
